Ideas To Make Your Curtain Poles Stand Out
category: Interior Design
Make no mistake; it’s hard to make your curtain poles stand out. The common misconception that many people hold is that you should simply just get the poles, hang the curtain from them and leave them be. This simply isn’t true. Whilst a lot of homeowners just see them as essential, staple fixtures, there’s nothing to say you can’t accessorise them to realise their potential. Here are a few suggestions to spruce up your boring curtain poles. One suitable finish to the poles is the addition of finials. Fitting finials couldn’t be easier, as they simply slot on to the end of the pole and that’s that. As a result you’re still likely to find a style that suits your room.

As well as being a vital piece of the pole, rings and gliders can be purchased to add a nice bit of charm and character to room.

It’s a case of doing exactly what their name suggests here, as holdbacks hold a curtain back, and tiebacks tie them back. The former is usually a metal hook into which the curtain can be tucked, allowing light into the room. Tiebacks work in a similar fashion, although they tend to be pieces of material that can be tied around the curtain. As with all the other accessories, there are a wide variety of styles and designs, meaning that here’s always an accessory for your curtain poles. ...
